Fitness Coaching
Strength built to last decades.
Not a program. A foundation. Designed around your body, your history, and the life you want to be capable of living.
I built this around a life that doesn't slow down.
I'm a business owner in Information Technology. I have five children — three still at home, including a 9-year-old. I am a husband. I run a company. I have a back that has been broken and rebuilt. I have knees that have had their MCLs and ACLs blown out multiple times across 20 years of martial arts.
I don't coach from a lab or a luxury gym with unlimited time. I coach from the middle of a full life — the same kind of full life you're living. That's not a limitation. That's the whole point.
Every program I write is built around the reality that you have a job, a family, obligations, and a body with a history. Not the theoretical version of you with eight hours of free time and perfect joints. The actual you.
The injuries didn't stop me. They educated me.
Broken Back
I've trained through spinal injury and rebuilt from it. I know what movements load the spine safely, what to avoid, and how to build the posterior chain strength that protects your back for the long haul. If your back is a problem, we address it directly — not around it.
MCL & ACL — Multiple Times
Twenty years of martial arts took a toll on my knees. I've blown out both MCLs and ACLs more than once. My knees are now strong and stable — not because I got lucky, but because I learned exactly how to rebuild knee integrity through targeted strength work. I'll teach you the same.
Decades of Trial and Error
I didn't get here by reading about it. I got here by doing it wrong, getting hurt, studying the science, adjusting, and doing it again. The certifications gave me the framework. The injuries gave me the wisdom. You get both — without the decades of pain it took me to earn them.
The secret isn't a secret. It's protein and muscle.
Muscle is the organ of longevity. Not cardio. Not stretching. Not a supplement stack. Muscle mass is the single most important physical asset you can build and maintain as you age — and most men over 50 are losing it faster than they realize.
My approach is protein-centric and muscle-forward. We build and preserve lean mass through progressive strength training, support it with a nutrition plan built around real protein and whole foods, and layer in conditioning and endurance work that complements — not competes with — your strength.
This combination — muscle-centric strength, strategic conditioning, and protein-first nutrition — is what drives healthspan. Not just adding years to your life, but making those years capable, energetic, and worth living.
"Muscle is the organ of longevity. Build it. Protect it. Feed it."
Strength Training
Progressive resistance training built on evidence-based principles. We start with movement quality — not load. You'll learn to squat, hinge, push, and pull correctly before we ever add significant weight. Injuries happen when form breaks down under load. We don't let that happen.
Conditioning & Endurance
Zone 2 aerobic work and strategic higher-intensity intervals to build a heart and lungs that support your strength training, not compete with it. Your cardiovascular system should be an asset — not a liability that leaves you wrecked for days.
Mobility & Injury Resilience
Every program includes targeted mobility and corrective work specific to your history. Bad shoulder, cranky hip, a back that's been through it — we address that directly. I've rebuilt my own body from serious injury. I know how to help you do the same.
Recovery & Sleep
Training is the stimulus. Recovery is where the adaptation happens. We'll cover sleep, stress management, and the recovery practices that actually move the needle for men over 50. This isn't optional — it's half the program.
Most clients are ready to train independently and own their program for life.
My goal is to fire you.
I spent my career in Information Technology — a business built on making clients dependent on ongoing service contracts. I built the opposite of that here.
Most fitness coaching is designed to keep you coming back. Hooks, contracts, the quiet implication that you'll fall apart without your coach. That's not coaching. That's a subscription service dressed up as health.
What I give you is the knowledge it took me decades and a lot of pain to build — compressed into 3 to 6 months of real, focused work. The science of how your body responds to training. The nutrition principles that actually drive body composition. The programming logic so you can adjust your own training for the rest of your life.
When you leave, you leave with all of it. No dependency. No monthly retainer for information you should own. That's the goal. That's always been the goal.
How It Works
We start in my personal home gym in St. Tammany Parish — before you ever walk into a commercial gym on your own.
The Conversation
A no-pressure call. I want to understand your history — injuries, current activity level, what you've tried, what's worked, what hasn't. No assessment forms. Just a real conversation between two people who take this seriously.
Movement Assessment
Your first sessions are in my home gym. I watch you move. I identify compensations, weaknesses, and mobility restrictions before we build anything. This is where most programs skip a step — and where most injuries come from.
Your Program
I write a program specific to you — your body, your schedule, your injury history, your equipment access. Not a template. Not a PDF you could find online. A program that accounts for where you are and builds toward where you want to be.
You Own It
We train together until you have the form, the knowledge, and the confidence to train on your own — in any gym, with any equipment. The goal is always your independence. I'm not building a dependency. I'm building a skill you keep forever.
